Moscow’s most sought-after old addresses lie in Khamovniki, between Prechistenka, Ostozhenka and the river, and in the lanes around Patriarch’s Ponds. Zamoskvorechye keeps its merchants’ houses, and Moscow City and the Presnenskaya embankment offer apartments in towers.
